It was pretty grody but everything is like new today. I have threatened bodily harm if it happens again. :-)
That afghan must have history. I would have thrown it in the trash! I don't know about Odoban, never used it. However, every load of laundry I do gets one full scoop of Borax. Back when Matthew was a baby and nearly every poopy diaper leaked I need something for odors. Borax worked everytime. So now I just use it in every load cause it doesn't hurt, and certainly does help!
Hope today goes better for you!
Mom used to use Borax all the time. I'm not sure how I could do that. I have one of those Whirlpool Duets and it has a little contraption that I have to use for all the stuff I'm going to put in. There isn't a Borax compartment, lol. I'll have to think on that.

I am lucky, I know it.
We used to take sheets and blankets- holding them all together with the big safety pins- and build tents in the living room- using the kitchen chairs as a frame work! No earthworms involved. Plus, Mom started making me clean it up be the time I was 4.
Yeah, they do that too indoors. They just started this dragging of everything outside the last half a year and it's got to stop. Makes me nuts!
