I went to the eye doctor yesterday. I've never worn glasses in my life. Now that I'm pushing half a century, the doctor says I've gone directly from no glasses to tri-focals. He suggested that I get progressive lenses. They are easier to adjust to than trifocals. So that's what I did. I wonder how I'll adjust to the whole "wearing glasses" thing.
Actually, I'm sort of looking forward to getting them. I'm ready to have everything clear again. Even sitting in the chair with that eye machine thing in front of me, I was amazed when it came into focus. I didn't know how much I've been accomodating my blurry vision. Gosh, I'll be able to read easily again. I'll be able to see things on my desk without squinting. That'll be something.
