If you ask a genuine bastard to judge you, if they're positive it's because they're trying to trick you to bed, and if it's negative it's because they don't want to blame themselves - they might get a kick out of it too if they compare themselves to you and are able to make you look bad in their own mind - so that they feel better by comparison.
