like i said, i don't know n e thing about electricity so that's my only guess. it turned off when i unplugged it, lol

meh, sometimes electronics malfunction for no apparent reason, but don't worry, i highly doubt you have ghosts
haha. try unplugging it or removing the batteries to make it stop, and if that doesn't work, just throw it against the wall a time or two. good for relieving stress.

it doesn't have batteries, it just runs thro the cord, but unplugging it did work. i've been too lazy to plug it back in, tho, lol

Even humidity can cause this. I bet if you get a little screwdriver and open it up, you'll find a green circuit board in there with some white corrosion on it somewhere. I've seen boards malfunction with too much dust on them!
