my alarm clock/radio just randomly turned on by itself- and it won't turn off. i tried all the settings, pushing the snooze button, n it won't turn off. i had a squirt gun sitting on it that apparently leaked on it a little; is it possible that this somehow fried its circuits to turn it on by itself n break the off swtich so it doesn't turn off? (not that i don't like hearing songs on the radio that i've played on Guitar Hero, hehe) the only other thing i can think of is maybe it triggered the alarm n it will shut itself off automatically after an  hour. i don't know shit about electronics really besides turning them on, off, and setting alarms, so if u think u have an idea of why its doing this, please reply! (n i will repeat- i want a reasonable scientific explanation for this! no ghosts or that crap! lol)

meh, sometimes electronics malfunction for no apparent reason, but don't worry, i highly doubt you have ghosts   haha.  try unplugging it or removing the batteries to make it stop, and if that doesn't work, just throw it against the wall a time or two.  good for relieving stress.

hehe, i'll remember that. it doesn't have batteries, it just runs thro the cord, but unplugging it did work. i've been too lazy to plug it back in, tho, lol

LOL...I bet there is some water or corrosion on the circuitry.  Even humidity can cause this.  I bet if you get a little screwdriver and open it up, you'll find a green circuit board in there with some white corrosion on it somewhere.  I've seen boards malfunction with too much dust on them!

well it was also really dusty, so maybe the combination did something, lol
