Spanish medical researchers recently gave two groups of men similar heart-healthy diets that varied in only one factor. One group was given 8 to 13 walnuts a day (about 2 ounces). After just 1 month, the walnut-eaters had 20 percent less gunk in their arteries, and an incredible 64 percent stronger artery-pumping action. That could easily translate into much greater potency for a middle-aged man and better sex for women, too.

Why are walnuts so healthy? Two reasons.

One, the L-arginine - the component that makes a woman sexier - also acts as a raw material from which the body produces nitric oxide, an important vasodilator, or artery-opener.

Two, walnuts are the only nut (and one of the few nonfish foods of any kind) that contain good amounts of omega-3 fatty acids, which improve the functioning of people's nerves in such a way that makes them less hostile and mistrustful."
