Or maybe it was the splatter zone... I'm not sure if I will go try to see this because while I do love the Evil Dead franchise, I've always been a bit iffy on musicals. But you never know, could be fun!
I currently have a Motorhead ringtone (Ace of Spades) on my cellphone...those guys are awesome.
yeah, I do take musicals with a grain of salt, and would only be interested in this one because it's Evil Dead -- heck, I'd even sit in the "splatter zone!"

Yeah, Ace of Spades always makes me smile. A few years ago Robert and I spent a hilarious evening with some of the members of Motorhead, after a female friend and I got handpicked by the roadies out of the audience to come back and "party" with the band after the show...very retro! Ha ha...it was more "Spinal Tap" than anything else. Lemmy obviously went straight to bed, their drummer hit the buffet and wouldn't stop stuffing his face, and the guitarist cracked himself up over and over with an electronic whoopee cushion in his pocket that kept going off "accidentally." Hardly the badass rockers they always try to come off as.
Have you seen the British show Black Books? If not, I'm sure you'd love it. One of my favorite scenes has the characters coming home drunk from a party and dancing to "Ace of Spades"...it's a riot!

I love Motorhead. Lemmy always reminds me of some of my "black sheep" relatives... !

My Irish pen pal, Pauly, always tells me that Motorhead is the token heavy metal band of all time in the UK -- he once said to me that, after moving to the U.S. he's so surprised that Americans don't do as the English do: use Motorhead music more often when a TV show requires it!

You can now get seasons one and two on DVD here in the US, but if you have a multi-region DVD player, there's a really nice box set of all three seasons that you can get off the UK Amazon site. I have the box set and love it. ~V

Okay, it's been a long while since I wrote in this blog, but I'm not going to go through with reasons why. Since it's October -- my favorite month -- it has given me the excuse to start picking out Halloweenie Goth music for ya all. Today's music comes at you first from
