Superimposed by NOCTIGRAM

Previously featured here in a previous incarnation known as The Creepers, songslingers Jason Desmise and Natassja Noctis are now even creepier as Noctigram.  Not necessarily a new sound, but one that is more refined and refreshing like a glass of black plum wine on a steamy night, yet still holding onto their creep-o-phonic vintage roots, Noctigram is more gloomy noir glamour -- definitely the kind of stuff you want to listen to at your favorite late nite lounge.  The "creepabilly" has softened into echoes of Joy Divison-meets-Undead Elvis ecstasy which takes me back to my early days as a young creep myself.  What I love about this dramatic duo is they bring a potpourri of so many dark elements I personally like to the table; black liquid eyeliner stained eyes, blood red and black satin suits, lazy strums of guitar drifting over dunes of moon-kissed sand on an island beach filled (most likely) with zombies, and lonely love sick vampiric desire oozing out of every moanful lyric...  If I had a wish to grant them today, I'd say they should do the soundtrack or at least be featured in a David Lynch movie.  Believe me, it would be a good thing.

But, for now, you can catch them on Myspace and, as they continue to evolve, I'll be sure to feature them here again sometime....  Just in time for Lughnasadh tomorrow, this band is going to launch a digital album.  For more information, go here for the big scoop!

One day at a time.  blogthemes is one I rarely update, unless I come up with new themes or if someone requests a new theme.  bigmamagoth is my comic strip blog, which I also use as a means to showcase my favorite music, so it's only updated once a week or whenever I have new cartoons created.  deletedromance is a blog I share with myclette who also likes to change romance novel covers with photoshop!  valentinaxxx is my "real" blog where I write and showcase whatever I feel like, so that's really the only one I really update often.  The only other blog I have is a  my valentinaxxx myspace page which I only use as a means to direct people here (since I have so many friends on myspace -- I'm trying to get them to come here!)
Blogs are my only means right now of keeping in touch with friends, so go figure.  It's more of a joy than a chore.
