Best Album of 2008 - MindSay Edition

to MindSay's Best Album of 2008 Nominations Round.

But first, read the "fine print:"

THE FINE PRINT:
-The album you choose has to be released in 2008. No reissues. I will be Googling every single nominee and I will let you know if your album does not count.
-No EPs, no singles, no soundtracks, no eBooks, no compilations, no live comedy albums (unless it's musical comedy [example from this year: Flight of the Conchords - s/t])
-Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago will be counted. It was written, recorded, and was self-released in 2007 but it got a label-release in 2008. This goes for other releases that fall into this category. Again, I'll let you know if I think it counts.
-Radiohead's In Rainbows is considered a 2007 release
-Thrice's The Alchemy Index Vols. III & IV will be counted as it is a part of a complete LP and not a typical EP release.
-YOU CAN ONLY VOTE ONCE. If you want to change your vote, fine, but let me know what you voted for FIRST and then tell me what you'd like it changed to.
-Please, don't try and rig the voting process by creating aliases to vote with (i.e. making a new blog and using it to vote). If your blog looks suspicious, I will not count your vote.
-No last minute votes.
-Nominations can be made from now through December 20th.
-Please have fun and be nice!

Here's the rough schedule for how this is going to go down:
November 28th through December 20th: Nominations Round
December 21st through January 7th: Voting on the Nominees
January 7th through January 9th: Tallying, Tie-breakers
January 10th: MindSay's Best Album of 2008 revealed!

Just a quick edit for all you guys:

~~You may only nominate one album during the Nominations Round.~~
~~You can nominate an album that has been already nominated. You will want to, because:~~
~~The albums with the most nominations will proceed to the Voting Round. BUT:~~
There must be at least 10 different albums with at least 2 nominations. If there are (for example) only 4 albums with multiple nominations and 13 albums with one nomination each, there will be a tie-breaker Nomination Round where users will vote on which albums get to be included in the Voting Round.
~~Once the Nomination Round (or tie-breaker) is over, the 10 - 15 albums will then be voted on.~~
~~The album with the most nominations will win MindSay's Best Album of 2008.~~
~~If there isn't a definitive #1 spot, a tie-breaker round will be held.~~
~~If, after the tie-breaker is over, there is still not a definitive #1, I will resort to throwing a dart at a large piece of paper after being spun around several times.~~
