it's not really like a spamming problem or anything. people are just being really mean to each other in some of the topics. i mean yeah myself included in here but people are just being downright rude for no reason. like they read someone's post wrong and then it's a huge fight in every other topic that that person's ever posted in. of course that's only in rare cases but seriously.

then again this could just be me. but i do sometimes just browse around and i see people getting really pissed off because someone else had a different opinion sometimes. it kinda makes me sad. :-(

I was just wondering if there was a flame war or something.  Lately, when I see a flame post, I forward it to the mod of that forum and just let them deal with it.  I can't do all the work myself.  Remember that guy that called you Lenny, I'm inches from banning him.  But I issued a warning. 

I can detect spam with no problems.  I don't hesitate with the banhammer.

I agree.  I do remember a time when some MindSayer posted about committing suicide, and all of Mindsay posted their sympathy for her.  I'm like, "is she dead yet, fuck!"

It was in that forum "NBA Betting Scandal".  That one person who posted those things about abuse and what not, BANNED.

Maybe in MindSay, people can get away with being douchebags, but in the forums, I don't tolerate shit like that.

I have no problem with attention whores, I can even be one once in a while, but if an attention whore is stupid enough to try dangerous tactics and offs him/herself, it's nobody's fault but theirs.

That being said, yes, I agree.  Getting in a fuss about publicly suicidal people and their wellbeing is like worrying about a murderer's happiness.  Suicide is murder for newbs.

Yeah, I'm not so big on the forums anymore myself.  It seemed great for the first month or so when it was new and people seemed to use it as I expected to see forums.  Then it turned more or less into a different kind of "chat" program and I lost interest.  Or maybe I'm just a freak and am the odd one out.... who knows, lol.

A post put up my a friend of mine.  She meant well.  It could have been taken multiple ways though.  The word "should" was the main issue.  It ended badly.  I feel the people most responsible for the most harm were actually the two who were trying to defend her...

they're nice guys. i like them. i sometimes wish i had a brother so he could be in Boy Scouts and i could go on the trips with them. my friend does and she says they're really fun.

We didn't have them in my little town but my parents had a tourist business and they used to camp there. The leaders knew my parents and would let me take part. They were from PA so i was their resident Canadian feral Boy to ask questions of and make fun of my accent.

I work in a hardware store now and mix paint but in real life i am on Mindsay and a nerw grandfather. I used to be a storyteller but head injuries have made it that I cannot do that now because of poor memory.

One of my best days here was when a cult investigator was checking out and finally realized it was satirical.

cult investigator? exciting! i read a book on cults once, but it was a while ago. but then i saw a program on t.v. about cults. i forgot all the names basically but it was incredibly interesting but i couldn't finish it as it was too late for me. it was one of those 4 hour things but it was really cool.

and me? full time sophomore in high school. i run cross country but the season's almost over, and i should be getting a job over the holidays. after that it's spring track season and then the summer.

My nephew is a cross country runner up here in the great white North. Its a great sport. should be on TV rather than baseball, wrestling and worst of all car races.

definitely! only it's not exactly a major spectator sport, you know. PRE made track and field one in the 70's but he's long gone. he'll never be forgotten, but the sport basically is.

I did a 2 hour test on the on the internet last year to see what my real spirituality was. it said i am 95% Reformed Jewish.

There are many things in Jewish thought that I am much more comfortable with than Christianity.
