Glad you're okay. But, yeah, insurance companies are likely to be rough on you for a few years. They don't like it when young drivers have accidents.

i mean, i was planning on not taking a car to college, and then after that living somewhere where i don't need a car. but not NOW. ugh. 30 minute walk to school. seriously.
Uh huh.... and a 30 minute walk to school is just terribly unbearable why? I kind of did that for most of my school years, from like age 8 thru to age 13, lol In fact, that walk is how I met one of the best friends I've ever had.

it's just different when i've had a car, and now i don't. i have to lug a backpack around too. and i have like, zero to do at lunch. haha.
"oh and his car? barely anything. at most he'll get a new bumper. my car is too small to inflict any real damage to anything except maybe a small rat. i didn't even reach his headlight, which is good."
That's exactly why my first car was a pick-up truck! I can push disabled vehicles around with my bumper. Of course, newer trucks are a lot more cheesy, so I stick with the '80's and early '90's ones, back when the chrome was thick and the mileage was low.

My old truck gets better gas mileage than a lot of new trucks! My old plow truck got 20-22 mpg highway between the few long distance trips it took.
But you can't haul fifty bales of hay in the back or pull an equipment trailer around with it, either.
