I actually read that she's intending to step out of politics for good.
But two points of order,
1) he resigned when he had already been ELECTED President, NOT 3 years before he even entered the race
and 2) you can't equate resigning from a seat as a public delegate in the Senate to walking away from the leadership role OF THE NATION'S LARGEST STATE (sorry, I have to put that in bold since they boldly bragged for months that she was the governor of the largest state even if we know, in this case, size really doesn't matter, LOL!)
hopin' to catch some of St Louis' fireworks tonite through the grandstands of NASCARs Gateway International that blocks the old view of the skyline!
Got your email...will reply later today. Sent you a 4th of July text, then realized with the time difference, it's a 5th of July text for you...lol. Oh well, better late than never right?
I thought of you while mowing yesterday! Felt like you hit me with your big orange truck!
The new Hayes Research polls ( hays research dot com) show the governor at 54% combined approval and 41.6% combined disapproval.
an editorial continues : "30% of her former fans now boo her. Love can be fickle.
Alaskans are starting to get it. Palin's job approval numbers have dropped consistently since she came back from the Hate Talk Express tour. Neglect doesn't play well here."
If she wants to survive in politics, she has to get the hell away from Karl Rove - just because he coached another failed big state governor, doesn't mean she has the nads to survive political warfare - hell, she just proved she can't even survive normal political interplay. I see NO way she can go into National politics after crash and burning as governor and abandoning her own ship of state - shameless.bb.
It is not YOUR place to decide what I would do, either.
You seem to judge on your own that her faults as recognized by the majority of us, are not faults. Or they are worth ignoring because according to your inside knowlege she is not screwing staff or dodging taxes - personally, I'll wait til investigations are done before I judge her as governor, but what she has done is to LIE to her constiutuents and renege on her deal to serve her term as elected. After this debacle of her governorship and her ridiculous choice by McCain, she has no integrity except, apparently, in the minds of the minority of people like yourself.
You had better take a breath before continuing to paint her as a pristine, almost saintly politician - maybe you should start to follow the MSNBC investigation in which : "David Shuster was able to confirm a criminal fraud investigation wherein she's alleged to have steered lucrative contracts to SBS in a quid pro quo."
This is current, this is ongoing, this is IN ADDITION to Trooper Gate, an ethics investigation by her own State election board that found her guilty of violating state ethics laws.
Don't DARE come to my page and tell me how I will act, when you don't even have your facts straight.
