The only thing that could be more pathetic would be a blog whining about blogs whining about mindsay news not being news, but that's just too hard for me to wrap my brain around.

not whining, laughing my ass off that others take it so seriously.  for me, its not so difficult a concept that my mind has to be wrapped around it to understand it, but thats just me.

There's a legitimate reason for such posts as it indicates general unhappiness with the mindsay news page which might hopefully create change by causing them to post legitimate news or at least scrap the piece of shit.  

oh, I agree completely, and although some took it wrong, I was not saying the posts were bad or shouldn't be made - my post was exactly what the title said - to highlight the humor that there were posts that complained of the attention the story got and those very posts gathered attention thus disproving the argument that it isn't newsworthy.  its probably just a matter of time before they have some "contest" to rename the 'news' feature, hell, its been questioned, complained about and discussed for the past 9 months!bb.

Rename the fucking feature?  What the fuck.  So they know it's not really news, and instead of trying to add some actual news, they're just going to call it something else like an online entertainment magazine.  Fucking douchebags.  I wish I had more time so I could at least moderate a real news service but unfortunately I'm hard pressed to even answer replies.

While it is hard to wrap around, believe me, some of these blogs DO exist! lol

I'm sure and it wouldn't be the first time either.  Thankfully we didn't have to have a 5 day discussion this time about how lame the blogs mocking the blogs mocking the blogs mocking the news are.

What's the point of mindsay news-not-news any way?

well, they've addressed that complaint since day one explaining it is for the purpose of mindsayers posting anything that they feel is newsworthy and not specifically intended to be a news ticker. 

I quickly realized that and have never wasted time reading or submitting stuff since then.  I have read in past replies to this same complaint that they have toyed with the idea of renaming the feature.

god help anyone who looks to that feature for news - I don't recall it ever being a source of info for any of your posts thank goodness, LOL!
