I know!  I had a waist high snow drift outside my door this morning.  It was like the snow was locking me in...

WAOW/The National Weather Service says we got only 8.5 inches, but I don't believe it. I think they got their count from where all the snow had drifted away from.

I AGREE.  I've been telling friends that I waded -- literally WADED in waist high snow this morning!  I may be short but that's still way more snow than a mere 6 to 8 inches.

I really haven't ventured out yet today. Work 5-1 at Family Video and then I am driving down to Rapids right after work to do the Christmas thing with family. Then I drive back tomorrow to work 4-10 at the video store. I am just glad the storm is done with.

Me, too.  Nothing like waiting for an hour just to take a five minute cab ride home in the snow.  That was me yesterday.  Lucky me I get out of Dala's at 4 and then I can relax.  She's still snowed in out in the Waupaca area.  

Here are my photos of the snow drifts outside my apartment... just makes me want to stay home for three months and not get out of bed.
