I had several middle east focus classes, it was the focus of my history minor, and the professor made a comment to me one time that I was a terrible debater. Not because I couldnt form, hold, and defend an argument but rather because, unnecesarily, I would say things to anger the "opponent" just so that they would lose their focus and the argument would turn into something unrelated. He told me that I would have a valid point but I would see them start to get frustrated and just attack for no reason. Just because I like to piss people off I guess...

You know that you are going to start a discussion when you lead off with... Fine. But if the movements of the 60s are ok, then why do we demonize hitler- why is Black Power, Brown Power, Jewish Power, etc etc ok but White Power is not? lol the reaction in a room half full of Jews is... entertaining.
