I will only add this, SS is actually unconstitutional, and so are all those other socialist advantages you list, but somehow they have been adopted into our so called non socialist system.
Hm. I hadn't heard that, I'll have to look into it. On what grounds is it considered unconstitutional?
http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig3/attarian7.html Here is an article and also Wikipedia has some details, there are many grounds but you (or me), have to decide because there are many arguments. As I pay it but live outside the US for my work (with no plans to return) and will never collect on it even if it survives until I retire, I find it unconstitutional.
and hope you make it to the top. I will follow with interest what develops and evolves here.
Also, shortly, when I have a little more time and have mulled and contemplate your last reply to me [referenced here], I will respond.

I agree on your comments about the socialist aspects of this country. I am always irked when people want government to butt out when it may hinder their success or slow it but they want all sorts of government intervention if they fail. In my (all to wild) mind the IS economy was intended to be the kind where you were free to win big or fail big whichever you did though it was all you.
It is true! I was voter number two at your blog. Now I just voted for you again on Top Blog. Cool or what?
Cool indeed. Its good to see other people think my ideas should be spread. I really want to get people's two cents on this; Bush screwed plenty of things up, but I still don't think anyone should have to take blame for something outside of his/her responsibility.
