This has truley been a hell week. But, feeling much better today...for the most part!! I had been banging my head on the desk since Sunday about my pc. Finally on Tuesday I started making the dreaded calls for help. You know...calling India and trying to communicate with people that is very hard to understand. Three days of calling my ISP peeps...no help, called Microshit...I mean microsoft!!...no help. Called my ISP again...finally called Norton Firewall peeps and they fixed it after two calls. THANK HEAVENS!!!!!!! My email was not sending/receiving. I could use my Yahoo or Outlook express only if I turned off my firewall and security settings. Then I couldnt get my attachments. I was absolutley flustered and sick with stress. All is great now! It was taking me 22 minutes....yes 22 minutes every time I had to reboot my pc. It about went out the window.....except.....I have brand new windows!! I even skipped out on the Christmas dinner we have every year for our crew and thier spouces. Dave was not happy. The conversation went like this.....

                Me: Honey, I really dont want to go tonight.

                Dave: Im sorry, it will be only for dinner

                 Me: Honey, I REALLY dont want to go.

                 Dave: It will be ok

                 Me: Ok, Let me re-phrase this. Im not going to dinner tonight

                 Dave:****walks away to take a shower****

                 Me: Will you be mad??

                 Dave*pissy voice* No

                 Me: Thank you.

So, that was that and I think he wasnt happy...but ya  know...I would have been reallllllly pissed being there when I didnt want to go. I wanted to work on my pc. I was determined to start off Wednesday working in the office. Well.....after New Delhi got me running ok I got it fixed Thursday morning!!

 

I actually went shopping on Thursday and was out most of the day. Dave met me for dinner about 7 om and made it home shortly after that. So...all shopping is done. I have to work on the Family gifts and wrap everything and go grocery shopping today. Now...I have to stay home and wait for the septic guys to come out cuz 2 of three toilets arent functioning. Great. So, Ill get stuff done here and patiently wait!

 

My insurance cards came in Monday!!!!! YAHOOOOOOOOOO!! They raised my premium from $417 to $477 a month for me and Dave. The had a rate adjustment added because of Dave, the premiums went up. WTF?? I called cuz he hasnt been sick or to a doctor in 16 yrs????? I was confused. The lady said it was because of his *build*...... WHat???? What does that mean???? She stumbled a little bit and said it was because of his *girth*. Again...WTF????? You mean you are telling me he is fat??? Well, she said that technically he is considered to be obese!!!!! OMFG!!!! I laughed out loud! You have GOT to be joking!!!! He is 6'2" and weighs 220.......solid muscle except for a little belly...that personlly is cute to me. I told her I wasnt being biased.....but I could stand to lose more weight than Dave. She just said to have him see a doctor, get a physical and the doctor could write a letter stating his phsyical well being. Poor lady was actually embarrassed. She was trying to be tactful telling me my husband was obese. Too fricken funny!! I'll deal with it and make an appointment for the both of us after the first of the year. Im still laughing...except its costing me $60 a month....$720 a year!!

 

Ok...time for me to take a shower and get my butt in gear. I never did send out Holiday cards........I guess I'll save them for next year!!
