So, let's see...... it's been a REALLY busy week. I started back to work on monday and it was tough, not that bad but still it's not like I've been working out or going to the gym for the last, um - (oh shit) 6 MONTHS! So yeah it was alittle rough, especially when I had to wake up to go clean my mom's house the next day and then back to work wednesday, going back and forth to the hospital, store, doc appointments for the kids check ups, etc. I am severely understating how tired this week made me, I have never felt just pure exhaustion like this. Atleast not that I can remember.

Oh the big thing- they transferred Aiden to a hospital alot closer to home because he was finally stable enough for non- intensive treatment, that was a huge day - thursday I think, I was nervous and excited all at the same time - and no the little blue pill did not help. Anyhoo- it was rough on the little guy, and took him a couple days to recover from such a big event -everyone looks forward to baby's first car ride, but no one ever expects it will be via ambulance.

He's doing pretty good now, every time he eats he takes it from a bottle, so no more tubes and his stats are good enough that they took the "nasal cannula" ( thats the fancy name for the oxygen tube) from off of his face so he is completely tube free! He will have to come home on a monitor for his heart rate but thats okay as long as he's home. Hopefully that will be any day now.

Re: update time
Well, when the babies get stressed out it's harder for them to focus. Their heart rates and respitory rates go all wonky. It's hard for their little bodies to keep their stats up if they're stressed about anything, like the eye exams, these little tiny babies have 4 people holding them down, holding their eyes open, putting drops in and looking into their eyes with equipment thats bigger than they are. And mostly all the babies want to do is be left alone to sleep.

I'm glad Aiden is doing so well!!  Hopefully he'll be home any day now!

You'll get back into the swing of things eventually.  Laying around being pregnant and all was hard work itself, so now it's back to a different kind of work.

So good to know that Aiden is doing so well!  He's a tough little guy!

I forgot - how many weeks along was Aiden born?  My friend just had twins born at 30 weeks.  They have been in NICU for 2 1/2 weeks and will probably be in for another 7 or 8.  The little girl was 3lb and the boy was 3.3lb.

I think it's so amazing the progress preemies can make with today's technology!  Yay for strong willed preemie babies!

I love the pix you posted on FB btw!

Hang in there, mommy! Your baby is almost there! Much too long for you to have to wait.
