One point that a lot of people miss about taxing the health benefits of people making over 250k is that a large percentage(I beleive as much 60%) are actually small business owners. Their "income" level exceeds 250k becuase they operate as a sole propriatership and are taxed on the companies profits as they own personal income.
Needless to say not all small business owners are wealthy, a lawyer who makes 250 a year and a guy who owns a pizza place and makes 250 a year probably don't drive the same car to work everyday.
The public at large doesn't know this and they don't look at taxing the "wealthy" as that big a deal because most of us don't and won't make 250 a year and we don't feel bad for the people that do. But the truth is it will hurt small business and force them to raise prices for their products and services or cut more employees at a time when the economy can't afford for either to be happening.
This is how he got elected in the first place, the message sounds great, HOPE!, CHANGE!, YES WE CAN! but the reality is he is not going to deliver policies that the American public is going to like adjusting to.
I can tell you that after yomama has been in office with his medical plan to save all I can no longer get the allergy medication that works the best for me. Instead they substitute with allegra (which might as well be air). because of insurance policy changes cause of yomama
