I have finally perfected my henna formula. 30 mg with a ratio of 2:1 henna to cloves. I left it on for five hours today and cooked it up two days ago with lemon juice.  It is exactly the color of light auburn that I have been searching for and it really makes my green eyes pop. and it doesn't hide the gradations of color which are natural to my actual blondeness. My how wonderful.



and the neighbors deck is up and so far they have used it for making cell phone calls and their kid walks around swinging a broom repeating over and over " Arrrgh; I'm a pirate"  Good thing these neighbors are never home and when they are they are tied to the TV. so far they have no furniture, just a plastic car for the kid.

I am worried that this deck is going to do Jan - my nice neighbor to the south- in completely. She  is not the most flexible of people and can't problem solve yard issues. She also has a history of really LARGE impulsive acts. and now she is talking about taking out hundreds of dollars of two year old laurels and replacing them with bamboo. oh My. I wish she would just put a bamboo screen up around her patio area.

As for the noise... I read outside with sound deafening headphones on. Works like a charm.
Plus it rains a hell of a lot  up here and they don't have any cover. well neither does Jan. and we have three covered deck/ porch areas on our house so even a snow storm wouldn't stop me grilling if I were determined.

I have added tons of things to my face book page and even got added to the friend's list of a young man who is the son of the much earlier mentioned man with whom I had an affair. Sorta ironic. I wondered if he is related to Kevin Bacon.  Sigh.
