OMSI gardens and a return to normalcy- well almost

okay it's been far too long and I have sucked into the ominous seductive world of face book where one can get lost, create several persona and generally wast one's life. at least with my blog I am keeping a verbal account of my life. so I hope Ihave not lost my fan following.... here is what's happening.

tomorrow I have orientation for my volunteer role at OMSI Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. I man the preschool science playground where for 4 hours every saturday I get the unbridled joy of playing with precocious preschoolers. ( I am serious- this is fun for me)  And the entire space is controlled chaos- the sort of ebvironment in which I thrive.  This is in addition to my ongoing work at the Chinese Garden, which I continue to adore.

My garden has fewer and fewer weeds as the ground covers  take over  and the mulch does its job. Jim has been adding trellises and more bamboo panels because we are finally taking the leap into  hot tub spa ownership. Next week an electrician is coming over to give the tub  it's own 20 amp circuit.  Maybe the week after the tub gets delivered and I start soaking til pruney.

I just came through a period of depression which started slowly at Purim and hit full blast at Pesach and  although I am through it, it impressed  on Jim my feeling of aloneness because he has never officially  converted and so he has finally agreed to officially become a  Jew. That's a big step for us both.

I have had some mini dramas but not worth  writing about. and if I get accepted into the juried art show for which I am preparing I will write more about that. And the laser debacle. a very minor improvement. Not worth the effort Not  AT ALL worth the pain or money or down time, botox I liked. Laser peels dont waste your money unless you are scarred ina major way and people are cringing when you walk by.
