pretty. What did it look like before? Those look like the dimensions of my dining room... and same window. Someone is coming tomorrow to bid on all new flooring in our house. If I have it done I will go from formal to informal in my dining room. Or I might not do anything. The possibilities are endless.

all we did was paint the walls. they were a cream color. the  chandelier we installed last year and the swag of white silk is the same. I have fabric for recovering the chairs and some fabric for new table runner too. I am glad we got it done before the holidays. Now we just  have the bedroom to paint ( dark green) . that will wait for spring I think.

 

will you do hardwood or laminates? or tile? since this is originally an old house we have hardwood except for the kitchen and foyer to the front patio- which is grey ceramic tile - great in the very rainy NW.

Hardwood and carpet.  I brought two hardwood samples home but they look terrible with the kitchen cabinets.  I'll try again.  I'm afraid that if I go light enough for the kitchen cabinets I won't like the color. And I certainly don't want to replace or refinish the kitchen cabinets.  Soooo.  That is my dilemma.
