My eccentric way of dressing at home has taken on a new height – so say my husband tells me. He was playing tennis (indoors) yesterday morning and when he came home this is what I had on:

A long white cotton nightgown with a large circular collar- on backwards

A flannel kilt almost to the floor

Leg warmers

Clean rubbery “yoga toes” - they stretch the toes into a wide open position.

A red turtleneck with a camisole underneath

A large tan hooded sweater

A felted bowler hat with a multicolored pompom on top

white cotton fingerless gloves.

I guess I should have let him take a picture of me as it was about as weird an outfit as I have ever worn and it felt great !!!  What do y’all wear at home?

Re: at home clothing
our house is very cold, so in the winter at night I wear the following:

  • White briefs and white V-neck undershirt
  • Long underwear over the briefs (this way I don't have to wash the long underwear as often)
  • Flannel PJ's, typically a plaid pattern.  The top and bottom often don't match, which my wife has a good laugh over
  • A sweatshirt over the PJ's
  • If it's really cold, a hooded sweatshirt over the other sweatshirt
  • Socks
  • Slippers (optional)

Re: at home clothing
I would love to dress like you but it is too hot. I have the heat turned off and have a pair of cutoffs on with feat on a warm magic bag. I will put a shirt on once I cool down from the walk home from work.

Re: at home clothing
Your outfit sounds more creative than mine.

During the day I usually wear jeans (with spandex), Two long sleeved tee shirts, a hooded sweatshirt, and a pair of those fluffy slipper sox. At night I wear lightweight sweat pants, a long sleeved tee shirt, and slipper sox. On the bed I have a heavy blanket, a comforter, and a heavy quilt. Our house is cold.

Re: at home clothing
Oh jeez, I know what you mean. I was fully clothed from head to toe and wearing a big heavy coat and I was still shivering and chattering as I walked around campus today (and good grief, it was only like, 35 degrees---I'm a cold weather wimp. lol)
