I'm sorry to hear about you show babygurl. It's funny that the quality shows are the ones that get the le boot and all the shows what no kind of substance are the ones that are getting the most praise/advertisment/money. Have you seen Ugly Betty or Heroes? I think I only saw them once but they seem like a pretty good shows.
Me too. :sob: At least I found a forum that's dedicated to doing what they can to bring the show back, they're very...gung-ho with the whole idea, it gives me hope.

So funny thing. The lead in that show that was my favorite, Veronica Mars, her name is Kristen Bell and now she plays on Heroes. Interesting, eh?

I hope with all of this it can make that difference. That's what those t.v. execs need to see that there's a huge fan-base with the show and should think again about putting it back on air.
Oh nothing much with me, I'm still in Korea land of cheap shoes and purses lol, but I have like three more months to go and hopefully I will have the opportunity to come back home for a month, it's funny sometimes how you miss the little things, I miss the laughs I use to have with my friends that most. Sorry about the extra extra late reply homegurl, I was at home on leave for a minute and I didn't have access to a computer, if I did I probably wouldn't go that often, I just wanted to relax, and I did and it felt good too!! Yeah that show Heroes is really catching on with people, I like it a lot too! I'm glad that she found another popular show to be on, this will help her with her career big time. Now I'm at Guam and homegurl it's mad lovely!! I'm just enjoying the weather right now, I haven't seen too much but this is good enough for me right now, when I was leaving Omaha it was all cold I ain't going to miss that at all!! Glad to hear things are going well with you, and enjoying the nice weather! Here in Denver...it's cold, as usual. I'm doing really well. Working two jobs, but trying to tone it down a bit for the holidays. I've been writing music lately with this guy, he makes the beats and stuff and I just come up with whatever pops in my brain, haha. We have one song complete, and working on a couple others. He basically told me I can't sing today, haha, and that he thinks I was "born to be a rapper." I don't know how I feel about that. I love music anyways, but I never thought I'd make it off of rapping, so we'll see where this takes me.

Oh I am everyday homegurl....except when it rains!! I'm glad that you are slowing down the work before holidays, it ain't coo to feel burnt out during this time, because all a person should be worried about is presents and getting there grub on!! What are you wanting for Christmas?? HEY that's what's up though!! U be freestylin'!!?? I love hip-hop to the fullest the good hip-hop that is, the boys and I always use to freestyle when we ride around, hang in the crib, go to a party....at the mall...eating at a resturant, shoo all the time!! You should really pursue this though, even if it's just a hobby for right now, because you never know, it seems like female rappers are making a come back and thats a wonderful thing because they always brought a fresh flavor to the game. Have you recorded a track yet? I hope so because I would love to hear it, I always wanted to do something in hip-hop, I feel like I'm more of a beat-maker as well, I just need some kind of equipment and then it on!!
lol I would be too! It's snowing, frigid and icy here. Yeah, I'm relaxing, taking a few days off cause my friend is coming down. I'm wanting a way expensive keyboard so I can start working on my own music, and on that note (no pun intended) I did do a track that I have on a myspace page. It's just one verse I'm doing on the song, but I like it. I'm trying to work on some other stuff too with that guy I told you about, but he's kind of...I don't know the word...clingy? And when I go over there, I end up getting stuck, literally for hours and hours. So I have to kind of push it along, and he kind of took me down a notch when he told me that he thinks I was born to rap, and not sing and that my rapping is 100x better than my singing. I love to rap, don't get me wrong, but I don't really want to be known as JUST a rapper. I thought I was versatile but it was kind of like...just made me get down a little on the music scene.

Clingy huh lol shoo next I would go over there I would bring my boyfriend along and see how clingy he gets!! It's good that you are getting your own equipment though, because sometimes it becomes a budden having to depend on other folks for stuff like that, especially when they have some off personalities!! Hey and don't mind what he said about your singing ability, when most people think about women singing they think of the over the top divas like Beyonce or Mariah Carey, that's not all there is too singing, people rarely think about the India Aries or the Norah Jones, that Neo-Soul type or jazz sound. But when artist come up in the music they try to sound like different popular artist instead of themselves but every sound doesn't fit every person. When I just looked at your picture you remind me of a friend of mine and she is a real Neo-Soul sista number 1 lol! So maybe that is it maybe you have to find your sound that fits you, because shoo as now and days it shows that anyone can rap, but not everyone can rap about real issues and be real at the same time, and everyone can "sing" **cough cough Cassie cough cough** but not everyone can sing with feeling and real deepest. From what you write and how you carry yourself I know you embodie depth and realest so it's just a matter of time before you find ya place.

Thanks for what you said, it makes me feel better, and I wish that I could be confident about my singing but I've always been...insecure about it. I have a strong, plain voice. I wish I could jazz it up, but when I do...or at least when I try hard to, it shows and sounds HORRIBLE. So I think he just thinks my voice is boring and plain. Oh well. =\
