And a judge in Great Britain today ordered caution to all teacheres their due to the nine scientific errors or ommisions from the film.
But I admit that the report was on a radio brodcast while I was going to work this morning and they did not specify which nine the judge was referring to. Apparently some type of lawsuit was brought forth about the ftilm being showed to students there. That is all I know at the moment.
Btw, how have you been? Long time no talk to.

yeah, idk about that, but personally, I have looked this stuff up on government websites and scientific journals, and I know that the major points in the movie are all based on scientific fact.
here is what i heard about this morning...
While it's evident there is an increase in the annual average global temperature there's no solid evidence for the correlation between this and PPM of hydrocarbons in the atmosphere.
Correct me if I'm wrong please.

I believe a lot of the evidence comes from ice core samples that show identical CO2/temperature trends, but as far as I know, if we agree that the greenhouse effect exists, it must make sense that an increase in greenhouse gasses would increase the annual average global temperature. I've also heard about a lot of evidence coming from computer simulations, which aren't exactly sound... but when they're repeated over and over again and tested against historical levels, they begin to become solid.

This link has some good info that explains everything in a little further detail, but doesn't really provide any specific studies. I would assume that if there wasn't something close to solid evidence, then 99% of scientists wouldn't be saying "global warming exists and we're causing it," but you know what they say about assuming.
Considering roughly 30% of carbon emissions are caused by electrical generation would you support replacing coal/oil plants with nuclear fission plants?
I don't really know. If we can find a better way to store the waste product then great, by all means yes. If not... well we'll have to be careful about it.
Personally, I'm more for implementing carbon permits and then just letting market forces push the development/usage of new sources of energy.
