It wasn't bad, actually. I thought that it would be catastrophic. My grandparents coming over and harassing me and Mother. But they didn't. Mother and I had apple pie and watched the Beatles.

The catastrophy, however, happened today....Mum's car broke down. We are borrowing Grandmother's.
Ouchies, car problems suck. 
First off, they are terribly inconvenient for both yourself and whomever you find to help you get around. Second, they can also be terribly expensive, it's this second one that bothers me the most, since I live in a small town and can really walk most places if I chose. I hope your mom's car gets fixed quickly, and without too hefty a bill! ^_^

The bill's 555 dollars and some odd cents. Gah, I agree. I hate our car anyways. It's really annoying.

Most times if I need something done on mine, it's a simple thing and so my bills are usually like $100-300. Still, that's bad enough!

This is a foreign car, and a stick shift and apparently what's wrong with it is extremely expensive and complicated but Mum and I are really good friends with the mechanic and his prices are the most reasonable in town.

Well, always nice to get along with your mechanic! ^_^ My dad's friend used to run a garage here in town, he was the best, and gave us good prices since we knew him. He closed a few years ago though, retired due to heart problems, so now I'm stuck with the dealership, really expensive.

Ew, yeah I know what you mean there. My Mom and her second husband were having issues with the Caravan and the dealership asked for a CRAP load of money. But Joe, being the dumbutt that he was refused to go with Eric, our mechanic friend, because he thought that he and my mother were having an affair (which is absolutely ridiculous because she's a Christian and has NEVER been unfaithful to any of her husbands (including my dad) even when they treated her and me like garbage (Dad never mistreated me but the other two did).
The whole thing was absurd.

Yeah, I know. It's sad. I hope to create a stable family for my kids when I get married and have a family of my own. Mother and I are really close too. So when I meet my love and she meets hers, I hope that we will stay close.
