What is going on with people these days? My friend just got out of jail, the cops came to his house and said he had a warrant. What happened was he left his bike at a friend's place, the guy whose place it was said it was outside, it wasn't, so he called him and asked if he could break out a piece of glass on the door and come back and fix it the next day. It was agreed on that would be cool. Turns out the door was one solid piece of glass. My buddy had every intention of paying for the door, that he broke with permission. So now he's charged with breaking and entering. The worst part is our other buddy made a statement against him to the cops, along with his parents. This shit bums me out to no end. Whatever happened to loyalty among friends? He could've played stupid and acted like he didn't know who broke the door. But instead you've got a situation where he gave someone permission to break the door, and then snitch on them to the police.
I don't get it.
In other news I've got a job coming up tomorrow that involves me filled a 20 yard dumpster full of dirt. It's right up my alley. Nothing wrong with a little manual labor.
The trails are drying out quite nicely, and I'm going to cover everything back up before the next round of rain hits this weekend so hopefully there will be a few more late fall sessions to come.
