Rap or Crap

ok, dis isnt like a pay out the the millions. . . and MILLIONS of rappers out there, but i wanna find out wats the deal?

 like i listen to good rok bands such as Metallica, and can really relate to these songs, but wen it comes to the the latest chingy song, the lyrics seem to show how awsome they are,but not the auidence. i do find the old N.W.A., TUPAC shit is fairly good, but todai it has become too difficult to reconize the decent rap, from the bad. i ask this, if this genre is so popular, and inspires the minds of teenagers todai, why cant there be a proper meaning? plz reply to the real meaning to dis question, WHY do you listen to it? ( by the way im 17, not an old fag who only listens to old music)
