I read an article about how the UK currently allows 9 months paid(+3 unpaid) leave for women. But now they are going ot make it so if the woman decides to go back to work after six months, the man can take the final six months leave.
I'm pretty sure Sweden has a longer period..around a year at least? And they're much more liberal with the male/female differences.
Important to me as if I have children I need to be living in a place with gay adoption and liberal paternity leave laws.
When I was born my parents took me to work with them (though I know not many people can do this). . . and Lou, and Logan; but when Lance was born they got Lance and Logan a babysitter.
I guess this is yet another reason why I am not destined for motherhood . . . I would probably be dying to go back to work.
In the Sims3 they only give you three days!
I never delt with this issue since my mom was stay-at-home. But I'll have to deal with it. I would hate to go to work all day just a few months after the kid was born.

lol that is the same as sims2 I believe, but the car still came! lol like:

I am over the sims I guess, and video games in general. I just can't get into them like I used to. Maybe it's becuase I haven't got any new ones..but before I could play my old games(because I would go in phases of liking them) alllll day basically.
I guess I have more to do now, but still..there is no desire to play any video games.
I try not to play any video games really because I get SO absorbed in them and then like all my time is wasted . . .I don't know lol
