Why should anyone stop NK? Or at least, why do they have the right to? The US has nukes, so how can we say no to NK without getting rid of our own bombs?
True, but we don't really know what NK would do with them.
Here are the possible scenarios if NK keeps its nukes:
Here are the possible scenarios if NK keeps its nukes:
- As Bush says: selling the nukes to terrorists for cash (unlikely)
- Start a war with a neighboring country like South Korea or Japan, with nukes to back them up. The war would draw in the US (Japan & SK are allies) and China (they wouldn't want the US Army to get too close to them). Nukes could be used.
- Will just have them and do nothing with them (the best thing to hope for)
So? No one knows what we're gonna do with our nukes. Someone could get pissed and press the red button and then -BOOM- there goes the middle east. Either no one should have them, or everyone should be able to.
So? Why do we have the right do we the world police? The world isn't one big playpen full of little kids. They're grown people and we shouldn't have the right to push them around.
I wish you were right, but if the more developed countries didn't watch out for the others, we would get unpleasant results. That's how Hitler and Mussolini came to power; their governments didn't know how to run things (in fact they usually made things worse), and people wanted that to change.
Yeah, I do think it is kinda weird that they haven't been paying attintion to some of the most war struck combat countrys in the world.
Kinda like in a class where the bad kid is skipping class, and the teacher notices that they're gone because of the silence.(happend today to me)
Not to mention the day we finally piss korea to the point of war, it is all over.
I know we could piss off North Korea, but I would hope that Kim Johg Ill has the intelligence not to do so. Too many bad things would come from that war.
Not to mention; I don't have any facts to back this up, but I think that N.K. has come very close with vietnam. If anyone remembers or hear of how hard it was to whipe out the kongs with their underground passage ways, and the fact that napalm did nothing but burn down jungles we woulden't stand a chance.
Wow if you think our government doesn't know this stuff..heh. They do a lot of things they don't tell us about. Believe me I know friends..who kno friends.
I'm afraid if I told you more I'd have to kill you
And wasn't that light brite fiasco stupid? gad..

Yeah, the lite brite thing was really stupid.
And I know that there are people in our government that know about this stuff (the reason why I mentioned the US research panel with an unknown name), but I just think we could be doing more.

The thing is I think we are doing a bunch of stuff, just not in the public eye. I have a friend that took part in a lot of battles in the phillipines in the late 80s...real run and gun battles. In a place we weren't even in at the time..officially
So people are working on in it I'm sure..
