Dude - sactly where did you camp?????

We went to Big Bend several years ago and the second picture reminds me of some of what we saw.  Stayed at Terlingua Ranch Lodge.

The exact location is N 29 41.708 W 101 19.400.  With a margin of error of 6 feet.  It is at Seminole Canyon State Park ( http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/findadest/parks/seminole_canyon/ ).  It is not near as big and wonderful as Big Bend, but it is closer and offers much of the same scenery.

The 3rd and 4th feel like the same composition, different media.  Did you intend that?  Doesn't matter, the resemblance may just be in my bird brain.  But they're sure purty.  I take it you had a GPS with you this trip? 

I always take my GPS so that I can do some Geocaching along the way and so that I don't get lost. 

I'm not near good enough of a photographer to even think of composition and all that we I take pictures.  I just take pictures of what looks good to me.  I guess over time there would be running compositional themes, just because there would be certain lines and forms that would catch my eye more than others.

I noticed that one of the tags for this entry reads "white shaman"(you?   ).  Is that what is depicted in the 3rd photo? A healing ceremony or a the release of a spirit from this world?  It is very interesting because from what I can see there seems to be a warrior and a healer in the pictograph as well and what looks like felled souls at the feet of both figures.  Are they rising?
