Well, I've finally got the first few pages uploaded. The forum is in place and there are a couple of games.
I looked long & hard at various forums. There are so many phpBB & SMF forums around that I wanted 1 that looks a bit different. I eventually settled for Mercuryboard. It's a very nice package; easy to install, easy to use, & it has adequate admin functions for what I need. I'm having to make my own skins, but that's not a problem.
There's a lot more I want to add to the site so development will be continuing for quite some time. I've got all the templates done now so adding extra pages is no big deal once I've identified what they are to be.
I'm enjoying getting back to development again as I haven't done any for quite some time. I'm having to remember all my HTML, CSS, php & MySQL so I'm not getting things done as quick as I'd like; but I'm getting there.
