Security Level: Low (Public / Everybody)

Hey MindSay, what's up? I'm supposed to be at work right now, but I'm here at home, taking a break for now to get a few things prior to my second delivery run.

I'm pretty sure I'll be able to update some more later on, during the afternoon. I just don't feel like I prepared enough for this hurricane, but I'm confident that everything's going to be A-Ok.

The hospitals are beefing up their security. I was not aware that my badge has a "clearance" pass to the hospital during a disaster mode. I'm an "Essensial Personnel" for the Regional Hospital Preparedness Council. In an event where any hospitals in the Southeast Texas restrict access in an emergency situation, I will be given access to my destinations. I didn't know I had this clearance... nice!

Now, because power failures are possible during situations like these, I will be adding an RSS feed of my Twitter blog here in MindSay. If for some reason that I am unable to update my MindSay blog, this will keep you guys updated:

Also, I apologize for any delay in my response to your replies and comments. I'll get to them as soon as possible.

Texas MindSayers, let me know how you guys are doing! :)

Re: Hurricane IKE: In the wake of the storm...
The clearance apparently didn't work with cops during curfew...
Then again, when I got pulled over that night, I wasn't wearing a shirt. lol

No ticket though, I was just told to go home.  hehehe

Oh I HELD ON TIGHT!  Believe me, my garage door was shaking so bad, I thought it was going to break and hit me while I was smoking in the garage.
I don't know if you kept up with my twitter, but I described that my bed and my walls were shaking... I was in my room, and my room was in the upstairs.

Thanks for the wishes man!  Don't get me wrong when I say this, but I think I am ready for another hurricane ride.

Roger - Stay safe!!

BTW -  that air filter is more important than the a/c filter. A clogged air filter can cause a decrease in your mileage and poor performance.

Thanks RV!
And thanks for scrolling down the twitter feed that day.  Yes, I changed the Air Filter, and I knew that the A/C filter can wait.  I need all that nicotine from there. lol
After I changed the Air Filter, the car sounded like it did the day I bought it.
