I'm sure I'm focusing on the totally wrong thing here, but did they misspell "statue"?

Sweet! They did. Good catch. The concept is still funny, though the execution is a different kind of funny.

Yeah, I knew that wasn't what you meant by the humor of the packaging.  I was reading it to see what was funny, and that's what I managed to focus on.  I enjoy finding mistakes way too much.  

I do, too.  I love finding grammar and spelling mistakes in the games I play and the books I read.  Usually I would have caught the "statue" mistake right away, but I was so overwhelmed with glee from the surprise humor inside the box, that I blew right past it.

She's awesome. I like the swishy hair.

For a second I thought you were saying you limit your collection to no more than 1000 pieces. Museums have smaller collections than that.

 

Caught the misspelled packaging to- they were so busy snickering at their own cleverness that they forgot to spellcheck. That alone makes it a collectors item.

I think to be safe, I should try to limit my collection to under 1000 pieces.  Between comics, DVDs, and action figures, I already have over 100.

I love her swishy hair and the cartoon style, in general.  The show-creators made one episode of a cartoon series based on Buffy, but Fox passed on it.  The original artwork from that episode was used to create this statue.  More character statues using the artwork from that episode are already in various stages of production.  My Willow has already been pre-ordered. 

I love witty packages like that.   Part of my love affair with Jones Soda.
