How'd your interview go?!
I think really well.
Unfortunately, they told me that the way it was working was there were a lot of applicants, divided into 2 piles: A pile of really experienced teachers who were qualified ... and then a pile of people like me, who didn't have as much experience, and/or didn't have teacher certification (mine is still technically pending). So basically, my interview on Monday was to see if they felt highly enough about me to move me to the pile of experienced teachers, who are in actual contention for the job. I should be hearing around Friday if I'm getting a second interview or not.
Meanwhile, today I set up an interview for Friday at 9am at a school a bit further away, but it's in a much more busy, interesting place, so though rent would totally cost more, I'm hoping that interview goes well, too.

I just wrote about it at eje224 . Basically, it apparently went really well

Thank you!
I spoke to someone today (may have been superintendent, they kept throwing a LOT of names./titles around), but basically, right now it's an oral contract. Man-on-Phone (Craig?) said he would tell Human Resources they were hiring Emily ***** for the job, and then they would call me when a contract was ready, and I would go sign it. Have no idea when that would be, but I'm hoping it is soon.
