Know when you do or say something that to you makes sense, but about 20 minutes later  you're like 'wow.  DUMBASS. Me.  Same person' ?

Today I filled out a work order for our time out room.  We need a door with a window so we can observe a student in there to make sure they're being safe.  The room currently does not have one, but when we go into the room, it's usually a sign a child is out of control and might be a bit on the violent side.  Aka, things could get broken.

So taking that into account, I wrote on the work form, "we need a door with unbreakable glass".  Seemed fine to me; I don't want a door with easily broken glass, because it really might be broken by an out of control child during a fit.

Mark finds me in the art room while I'm talking to the art teacher (and I WILL re-learn her name and never forget it, I SWEAR), and he was like 'really? Unbreakable glass, really?'.
I guess glass by definition is a breakable substance.  He knew what I meant, but just the way I wrote it ... good thing he likes me?  Or, I think he likes me/tolerates me without hating his job?

OH - in other news, I was talking with Susan G today, who has been MY ROCK and is ALWAYS HELPING ME OUT/GIVING ME SUPPLIES I NEED, telling her about my room and its age range, and she alerted me that hey ... it's actually illegal to have K - 5 in the same room. Kids aren't supposed to be more than 48 months apart or some shit like that.
*If I get in trouble for this, I'm going to pretend I know nothing, since this wasn't my choice anyway.
